Cosmic Waters is an intimate, high-end temple journey along the Nile. It is designed for visionary travellers, seekers, and leaders who wish to experience the body and the river as living temples.

Over five days, you will move through sacred spaces, engage in somatic practices, sound journeys, and ceremonial rituals, and connect with the energetic flow of the Nile, all within a vessel of spacious, refined luxury.

Itinerary

Day 1 — Arrival & Opening (Aswan)
Arrival in Aswan (recommended by 9:00 AM).
We visit Philae Temple, then go to our private Dahabeyas for lunch and an opening ceremony as we set sail on the Nile.

Day 2 — Heart Harmony and Balance (Kom Ombo )
Morning visit to Kom Ombo Temple. The afternoon is dedicated to relaxed sailing through the Nile’s most beautiful landscapes.

Day 3 — Inner vision & Clarity (Edfu)
Visit Edfu Temple in the morning.
Later, we sail direction Luxor.

Day 4 — Rebirth & Ancestral transformation (Abydos)
Private afternoon and evening access to Abydos, including the Osirion, the ancient pilgrimage site of Osiris and soul-remembrance.

Day 5 — Union embodied (Luxor)
Breakfast, disembarkation, and a final visit to Karnak Temple, before transfers to Luxor Airport or your hotel.

Water holds memory. The human body is over 70% water. The Nile has been revered for millennia as a cosmic river, reflecting the internal waterways of the body and the temples of the spirit.

Cosmic Waters invites participants to attune to this living flow through daily embodied practice, fascia work, conscious movement, and sound. Each day carries a distinct bodily and energetic focus, aligned with the temples we visit, guiding the body, mind, and nervous system into harmony and coherence.

You will feel tension release, breath deepen, and energy circulate freely, as the river and sacred spaces mirror and support your inner alignment. Movement, sound, and ritual open awareness while allowing presence, reflection, and stillness to emerge naturally.

Here, time slows, attention deepens, and the body remembers its own intelligence, leaving you restored, centered, and attuned to both the inner and outer waters of life.

Why the Nile?

In ancient cosmology, the Nile is the Backbone of Osiris.

As we travel from temple to temple, we work through the body the same way Isis restored the body of Osiris — one energy center, one body region, one release at a time. We ascend the Nile as Isis once did in her search for Osiris, moving from the womb of the South toward the light of reunion in the North.

This transcendent immersion is meticulously crafted to catalyze profound shifts in your embodied experience, transforming how you move, how you breathe, how you feel, and ultimately, how you exquisitely relate to the tapestry of life itself.

Your Journey Host: Mariam Khadiga

Mariam Khadiga is the founder of The Travelling Temples and the host, curator, and weaver of the Cosmic Waters Journey. Rooted in Egypt and deeply attuned to the Nile, she holds the living container in which land, water, and people come into relationship, allowing journeys to unfold as shared initiations rather than guided tours.

With over 18 years of experience in event architecture, hospitality, and immersive journey design, Mariam creates environments that invite collaboration, presence, and emergence. Her work is guided by an intuitive dialogue with place—listening to the river, the temples, and the collective field—so that each experience is shaped in real time.

Her background in Psychology, energy healing, body-based practices, and ancient Egyptian wisdom informs her ability to steward spaces of trust, flow, and co-creation. For the Cosmic Waters Journey, Mariam is the curator and spatial architect, bringing together people, vessels, sites, and rhythms that make this collective creation possible.

The Travelling Temples

The Travelling Temples is a united force of individual “temples” on a co-creative journey of transformation. Through events, retreats and immersive offerings, the Travelling Temples curates journeys focused on co-creation, community and consciousness expansion.

Accommodation

Embark on two exclusively chartered private Dahabeyas, crafted for beauty, comfort, and reflection.

Both Dahabeyas offer identical luxury, service, rituals, and access to the full journey. The difference lies only in proximity to live teachings and facilitators.

The Osiris Dahabeya, offering a quieter but equally luxurious immersion. Spaces on both vessels are limited.

To reserve your place on this sacred Nile journey, a deposit of $1,500 secures your cabin or suite. This allows you to claim your space while giving you time to prepare for the journey fully.

✨ Every payment contributes to holding the space, supporting co-creation, and preparing the sacred river field for your arrival.

  • Securing Your Place Your place on this journey is officially secured upon receipt of your initial non-refundable deposit of $1,500. Please note that space is strictly limited to ensure an intimate, high-touch experience.

    Payment Schedule Final balance payments are due in full 30 days prior to the start of the journey.

    Cancellation Policy We understand that plans can change. Our policy is designed to protect the integrity of the journey while offering flexibility where possible:

    • Cancellations 30 days or more before departure: 50% of your initial deposit will be issued as a credit, valid for any future event within 12 months. Any amount paid above the initial deposit will be fully refunded.

    • Cancellations within 30 days of departure: No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations made within this window, nor for those choosing to depart the journey early.

    Travel Insurance & Responsibility The Travelling Temples holds no responsibility for missed or delayed flights, transfer issues, visa complications, denial of entry, illness, injury, or "Acts of God" that may affect your arrival. No refunds or alternatives will be offered for any portion of the journey missed as a result.

    Requirement: All guests are required to carry a comprehensive travel insurance policy to cover these contingencies before arriving at the Journey.

    Modifications & Conduct
    The Travelling Temples reserves the right to change or cancel a journey if minimum booking requirements are not met. In such rare events, we will offer an alternative solution or a full refund. To protect the energetic container" of our group, The Travelling Temples reserves the right to terminate a guest’s stay for misconduct or behavior that disrupts the experience for others.

Travel Information

For Your Planning - Arrival, Visa, Departure

Please arrive via Cairo (CAI) with a domestic connection to Aswan (ASW).
Arrival in Aswan is required by 11:00 AM on March 30th.
Private transfers will be arranged. Flight details are requested in advance.

Tourist visas are available on arrival in Cairo (USD 25, cash).
An eVisa is recommended.
Visa arrangements remain the responsibility of each guest.

Please plan your departure from Luxor (LXR) after 4:00 PM on April 3rd.
